MY STORY…

…in 3rd Person

Jeannie is a classically trained actor and graduate of the University of Michigan Theatre program. She was an stage actress in New York City for a time, and ultimately found her passions with performance and literature in audiobook narration. She has years of narration training and coaching from some of the top professionals in the industry and has performed over 180 titles.

Jeannie brings a down-to-earth warmth to her performances, relaying stories with truth, rawness, and opportune wit. She could be your next jaded lover finding herself again, a woman on a journey through tragedy, a lead detective, a character accidentally caught up in a murder, a snarky and sassy badass heroine, the disgruntled romcom FMC, a scientist, and perhaps even a spaceship captain.

Jeannie is a member of SAG-AFTRA, The APA (Audio Publishers Association) and PANA (Professional Audiobook Narrators Association).

…in 1st Person

Two teenagers and a couple of labradors cover my time not spent in the booth. When not handling those four, one would likely find me at the water— on the beach with a book, paddling a kayak, or cooling off in the bay. I grow and preserve my own food. I have a passion for health, nutrition and the human body. The science of ecology fascinates me. I love to travel, having been to 40 states and 11 countries, and, of course, I am a lover of the journeys I can take through literature. If I get a free moment you may find me taking long walks, knitting a fine hat, baking, or sitting on the porch with a morning green tea, and evening bourbon, or a cool gin and tonic on a hot day.

THE BIZ

WINTER 2025

I have kept happily busy all winter. I’m lucky my window in my studio overlooks the backyard. I get to watch the snow pour down, sip hot tea and take journeys to other realms, fall in love, convict murderers, and swallow a new potion said to beat cancer but is addictive. And I’ll in the comfort of my home booth.

UPCOMING BOOKS:

  1. An Epic Fantasy with Podium Entertainment

  2. A Dark Thriller written by Carin Hart

  3. A SciFi Novella with Tantor

  4. A Sports Romance with Lyric Audio

THE LIFE

WINTER 2025

It’s winter in Northern Michigan. Which means snow, fires and… the flu. Myself and both my teens caught it this winter. And while it took a toll, I was grateful for the little things as we healed.

I wake up, which is a grace in and of itself. I get to be a mom every day. I get to narrate books for my job every day. I get to make good food everyday. I get to be in the seemingly mundane tasks of life. And I'm so lucky I get to do "mundane.” Because utopia can be found there as well.
