MY STORY…
…in 3rd Person
Jeannie is a classically trained actor and graduate of the University of Michigan Theatre program. She was an stage actress in New York City for a time, and ultimately found her passions with performance and literature in audiobook narration. She has years of narration training and coaching from some of the top professionals in the industry and has performed over 150 titles.
Jeannie brings a down-to-earth warmth to her performances, relaying stories with truth, rawness, and opportune wit. She could be your next jaded lover finding herself again, a woman on a journey through tragedy, a lead detective, a character accidentally caught up in a murder, a snarky and sassy badass heroine, the disgruntled romcom FMC, a scientist, and perhaps even a spaceship captain.
Jeannie is a member of SAG-AFTRA, The APA (Audio Publishers Association) and PANA (Professional Audiobook Narrators Association).

Two teenagers and a couple of labradors cover my time not spent in the booth. When not handling those four, one would likely find me at the water— on the beach with a book, paddling a kayak, or cooling off in the bay. I grow and preserve my own food. I have a passion for health, nutrition and the human body. The science of ecology fascinates me. I love to travel, having been to 40 states and 11 countries, and, of course, I am a lover of the journeys I can take through literature. If I get a free moment you may find me taking long walks, knitting a fine hat, baking, or sitting on the porch with coffee, wine, or a bourbon.

The Slow Down of Autumn
It’s that time of year when the days shorten, the shadows lengthen and the goldenrod pops along roadsides and meadows. It’s fall in the North.
Things are slowing down in nature and while work and life remain busy, my goal this year is to follow the seasonal slow-down and try to rest more, keep warmth around me, and appreciate the darkness for what it is: a break.
